DECENTRALISED DISTRIBUTION

AREAS OF APPLICATION

The air-lab block distributor has been designed for decentralized air distribution for each

floor within the ceilings.

The block distributor is generally installed within a hung ceiling area in as central a position as possible (hall).

Incoming and outgoing air is supplied for each floor or zone via at least one block distributor and from there

to a maximum of five air-lab hose line connectors.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BLOCK DISTRIBUTOR (BV)

The air-lab block distributor consists of a thermally insulated EPP casing with an inspection cover

and self-sealing main connection pieces for spiral ducts and five air-lab hose line couplings.

It is attached using four screws on the outer edge of the EPP casing.

The screw headspass through specially countersunk washers.

The countersunk washers ensure that the force

from the screws is dissipated into the casing

in a manner suitable for the material.

In the interior of the block distributor there are five restrictor slots as well as a splitter silencer.

Using EPP plugs, unused hose line connectors are hermetically and thermally sealed.

Hygiene plugs protect the block distributor from contamination.

The plugs are removed just before assembly.

RESTRICTOR (QSB)

The air-lab restrictor is for individually setting the dynamic pressure and as such

the required air flow for each hose line connector.

The air flow is set by turning the restrictor’s exterior housing

in relation to the fixed interior housing.

Each of the five hose line connectors can be equipped with a restrictor.

For inspections, the restrictors can be removed from the installation couplings

by manual disengagement (without tools).

Then the restrictors can be inserted faultlessly paying attention to the zone allocations on

the labeling area below the inspection cover handle.
